Every year, each of our business units selects local charities to support. This year, we are proud to announce that Advanced Thin Films, a part of IDEX Optical Technologies, has chosen to support two organizations - Boulder Bridge House and A Precious Child. Boulder Bridge House is a non-profit organization that provides return-to-work programs for the homeless, while A Precious Child empowers children in need by providing them with opportunities and resources to help them achieve their full potential.

Over the course of the past year, Advanced Thin Films and our hardworking employees have been involved in a variety of meaningful and impactful volunteer activities. These activities have ranged from community service projects to charitable initiatives, and have all been aimed at making a positive difference in the world around us. Alongside our company’s and employees’ contributions, we are grateful to receive monetary donations from the IDEX Foundation, which further supports our charitable endeavors. We hope that our contributions will make a positive impact on the lives of the individuals and communities we serve.

Boulder Bridge House

• In the first quarter of the year, we achieved a significant milestone that we had been working on since 2022. Our goal was to purchase a used vehicle that would be used for delivery purposes. However, due to the lack of availability and high cost of used vehicles, we decided to buy a new van instead. We purchased the new van for $57,000 from the IDEX Foundation, and it was delivered in December 2022. We celebrated its arrival in May 2023.
• During the May celebration, Advanced Thin Films purchased and assembled 100 blanket kits for new trainees entering the program at BBH. These blankets were intended to provide something personal to the trainees.
• Additionally, about once a month, our value streams volunteered at the Boulder Bridge House Community Table Kitchen. The teams took turns monthly to support the community kitchen by performing various activities such as chopping vegetables, boxing brownies, and making holiday cookies.

A Precious Child

• Advanced Thin Films purchased backpacks and the necessary supplies to fill them and with the help of their dedicated employees, who volunteered their time, they were able to fill 320 backpacks with supplies for high school students in need. The employees even turned the task into a friendly competition to make the experience more fun and engaging.
• In addition to this, Advanced Thin Films participated in “A Precious Gift Holiday Drive.” The employees, including the leadership team, took an afternoon to shop for holiday gifts for 40 underprivileged children in the community.
• Moreover, the IDEX Foundation, an organization committed to making a positive impact on society, generously donated a total of $12,500 to this organization in the year 2023 to support Advanced Thin Films' charitable initiatives.

We are proud to have been able to contribute our time, energy, and resources towards these important causes, and are grateful for the opportunity to have done so. Our company firmly believes in the importance of giving back to the local communities where we operate. As a team, we look forward to continuing our efforts to give back to our community and make a real impact in the years to come!
