CVI Mirrors are used for beam routing, alignment, and sampling. At CVI Laser Optics, we understand the performance demanded of laser mirrors: low scatter, excellent surface figure, high laser damage threshold, and reliability. We have mirrors for every typical laser application, including partial and high reflectivity mirrors coated on flat and curved substrates for use at single, dual, or broadband wavelengths. Our diverse coating technologies enable performance at wavelengths from 190 – 2100 nm, and include e-beam dielectric, advanced plasma source, high density aluminum, silver, and gold mirror coatings.
We work regularly with OEM customers to create mirrors specifically for their systems. Shape, dimensions, substrate material, and radius of curvature can all be customized. Any of our robust, high performance standard coatings can be applied at your choice of wavelength and angle of incidence, or we can design a coating to fit your exact spectral needs. With mirrors capable of withstanding as high as 40 J/cm2 of pulsed power at 1064 nm, specialized vacuum aluminium coatings for semiconductor application, and over 40 years of experience in designing and manufacturing laser optics, we can create the right mirror for you.

** Note: The general tolerance specifications above are intended to guide determination of appropriate tolerances based both on relative cost and manufacturability. Part-specific tolerances will vary depending on size, material, shape and aspect ratio. Tighter tolerances may be possible, so please contact us to discuss your custom specifications. All specifications do not need to be from a single column, though trade-offs may be required in order to meet the desired combination of cost and performance.
